Payment

Our app accepts Paypal and credit/debit cards supported by Paypal. All payments transacted through Paypal are subject to a Paypal fee which will be borne by Tooreest Technologies Pte Ltd. All the payments are done in one single currency of U.S. dollar. 

For virtual guide service, traveler (“User”) can book a service at a flat fees of USD 10 per booking irrespective of any location or a guide.

When a Local (“Guide”) adds physical guide service on Tooreest app it defines the price as per the service offering. Local (“Guide”) may decide to offer the service at a price which is dependent on a variable, such as the duration of service or additional support provided like pick-up or drop-off etc.

Once a booking is accepted, the traveler (“User”) and local (“Guide”) agree to enter into a contract, and the traveler (“User”) pay to the designated account of Tooreest via the payment method as provided in the app. Traveler (“User”) agree to be fully liable for any such transaction fee.

In the event where the traveler (“User”) have requested for a refund of the amount paid for a booking because of specific reasons like cancellation etc., Tooreest in its sole discretion – shall decide on the merits of such claim. Tooreest shall have the full and unilateral power to determine on the traveler (“User”) entitlement to a refund.

Change of booking date policy

Physical guide booking: Locals (“Guide”) commit to help all changes to bookings for “physical guide” made at least 48 hours before the booking date free of charge. To maintain the high quality of service provided, Tooreest is unable to process changes less than 48 hours in advance. Booking value is subject to changes after the change, and traveler (“User”) shall be required to make immediate payment for the additional sum, if any. Any refund arising from change will be processed according to Refund Policy.

Virtual guide booking: Locals (“Guide”) commit to help all changes to bookings for “virtual guide” made at least 12 hours before the booking date free of charge. To maintain the high quality of service provided, Tooreest is unable to process changes less than 12 hours in advance. Booking value is subject to changes after the change, and traveler (“User”) shall be required to make immediate payment for the additional sum, if any. Any refund arising from change will be processed according to Refund Policy.    

Cancellation and refund policy

No cancellation fees will be charged to traveler (“User”) for a cancellation of an accepted booking done by a Local (“Guide”). For any such cancellation traveler (“User”) will be notified and will be offered immediate replacement.

A cancellation of an accepted booking for the Services by a traveler (“User”) will result in a “Cancellation fees” payable by the traveler (“User”):

1. Any cancellation up to 8 days before the service commencement date: a penalty of 10% of the agreed price of the services. Traveler (“User”) will get 90% refund of the price paid for that particular service booking.

2. Any cancellation up to 5 days before the service commencement date: a penalty of 25% of the booked price of the services. Traveler (“User”) will get 75% refund of the price paid for that particular service booking.

3. Any cancellation up to 3 days before the service commencement date: a penalty of 50% of the booked price of the services. Traveler (“User”) will get 50% refund of the price paid for that particular service booking.

Any cancellation less than 3 days before the service commencement date: a penalty of 100% of the booked price of the services. Traveler (“User”) will not get any refund of the price paid for that particular service booking.
